We have been cutting and engraving in Ireland since 2006.
Aeon Lasers Ireland is the official Irish distributor of Aeon laser machines. We are not a reseller who found a supplier catalogue — we have run an industrial engraving and identification business in Ireland for nearly twenty years, on machines exactly like the ones we sell.
Our story
Where we came from
Aeon Lasers Ireland is operated by BKLD Distribution, an Irish business trading since 2006 in industrial labelling, laser engraving and asset identification. Our day job is producing tags, labels and identification products for mechanical and electrical contractors across Ireland and the UK — work that has to be right, legible and delivered on time.
Why we took on Aeon
We bought lasers as customers long before we sold them. That gave us a straightforward test for any machine: does it hold tolerance all day, is it quick to maintain, and can you get parts when something goes wrong? Aeon’s Redline series passed on all three, so we took on the Irish distribution rather than watch Irish buyers order blind from overseas.
What that means for you
You are buying from people who run these machines commercially every week. When we recommend a bed size or a tube wattage, it is based on jobs we have actually cut — not a spec sheet. And when you ring with a problem, you are talking to the same business that installed it.

What a box on a pallet does not include.
Anyone can ship you a crate. The difference is what happens between the deposit and your first paid job — and every time you need help after that.
- We check your site before we dispatch: access, power, extraction. Better to find the problem now than on delivery day.
- We install and commission the machine ourselves. No third-party engineer, no video call with a factory.
- We train on your materials, not a demo file, so the first job you run is a real one.
- We will tell you when a cheaper machine is the right machine. We would rather sell you the correct one once.

Aeon Lasers Ireland is run by Brendan Kirby, who founded BKLD Distribution in 2006 and has worked in industrial engraving, labelling and asset identification ever since. When you buy a machine from us, Brendan is the person who quotes it, installs it and trains you on it — and the person who answers when you ring
